How to make Rangoli Diya Holders – D.I.Y

For this Diwali, We have tried to incorporate paper (glitter sheets and cardboard) to create Rangoli Diya Holders. Rangoli Diya Holders are easy to make and Hassel free to use and store. Give your home a grand festive look this Diwali, make your own Rangoli Diya Holders.

Rangoli is a form of Indian folk art. Rangolis are also like the Mandalas. In which, patterns are created on floor or tabletops. Also, Normally we use colored powders, flower petals, powdered limestone, red ochre, sand, and many more to create Rangolis. Simple Rangoli are created everyday in Indian households at the house entrance. The purpose of Rangoli is beyond mere decoration. Grand Rangolis are made during festivals like Diwali, Onam, Ganesh Chaturthi and many more.

Materials Required :
  1. Cardboard Paper
  2. Ruler
  3. Pencil
  4. Eraser
  5. Scissors
  6. Compass
  7. Blade
  8. Double-Sided Tape
  9. Glue

2 templates will be created to make Rangoli Diya Holder.

Attach the 2 templates together by folding and applying glue. Create as many Rangoli Diya Holders you want and make your festive grand.

Place tea lights inside the holders. Last but not the least, start decorating your home hassle free and grand. This decor will instantly light up your home festive ready.
